San Diego finally has a Urban focused radio station. The iHeart Radio owned KSSX 95.7fm officially flipped the script, going from Kiss-fm “The Rhythm Of San Diego” to Jam’n 95.7fm.
Today on May 27, 2016, at 3 PM, after playing “Ignition” by R. Kelly, KSSX officially made the transition to a Urban-based Rhythmic direction, relaunching as “Jam’n 95.7,” with an emphasis on R&B and Hip-Hop hits. The first song on “Jam’n” was “The Next Episode” by Dr. Dre. The station plans to play more current hip hop and R&B.
The current lineup (As of May 23, 2016) is as follows:
Morning Show (6am-10am): Pablo Santo and Tati
Mid-Day (10am-3pm): Cedes
Afternoon Drive (3pm-8pm): Frankie V.
Nighttime (8pm-12am): Beto Perez
